About Us

The Lifted Black Beast is a blacked out 2002 Ford Excursion with the 7.3L Turbo Diesel engine. Two tone leather interior (tan/grey) with 4 captains chairs and a 3rd row bench.  Each door has it's own electric drop step manufactured by SideWinder (Company has since gone out of business). I have a TS-6 Performance chip and Snow Performance Methanol injection into the intake. The engine performance is monitored by an Edge Products system in a custom housing. My truck has 18" of lift from Atlas Springs on dual reservoir King OffRoad shocks riding on 46" Michelin Military tires. I custom built the roof rack/ladder with the help of a friend and do all my own electrical wiring. I do most of my own custom fabrication work with some help from friends. The rear view mirror has been removed and replaced with three 7" TFT monitors running a 5 camera system for a full 360 degree view from inside the truck. I have two 15" subs, four 10" subs, 18 other speakers wired into multiple amplifiers and a touch screen Kenwood radio. I have a 16,500lb Warn winch on the front and I made a custom dual hitch receiver on the back.

My current Sponsors:

Golight has provided the two 360 degree remote controlled LED Spot lights mounted on the top front of the truck and the two large LED flood/spot lights mounted on the top rear of the truck.
BoltLock has provided all the locks that secure the hitches, towing shackle, Hi-Lift Jack, Trailer tongue, and Pintle Locks.

Owner

The Lifted Black Beast is owned by an active duty Soldier who uses it as his daily driver.  95% of the work that is done on the Beast, is done by its owner.  The Beast was purchased in December 2013 upon returning from deployment to Afghanistan and it has been turned into his passion.  Many hours are spent working on the Beast adding new features and upgrades.

The Beast's owner shows the truck as much as possible in benefit car shows that take place across North and South Carolina.  The Beast has participated in shows that helped raise money and awareness for Veterans, Wounded Warriors, cancer research, child advocacy, Children's Miracle Network, Multiple Schlerosis, High School Bands, Toys for Tots, and animal shelters just to name a few.
